The University of Connecticut Dressage Team
Our Mission Statement
The UConn Dressage Team is a club sports team dedicated to providing opportunities for students to further their skills in the discipline of Dressage, as well as promoting learning and growth in the equestrian community. Our team consists of hard-working and driven riders with varying levels of experience. We pride ourselves on being a tight-knit community of passionate riders working to better themselves in this sport. We compete regionally in the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) Region A/B, hosting and traveling to shows throughout New England. We have consistently sent students to IDA Nationals, with competitors placing in the top of their classes.
UCDT Monthly Newsletter
Our monthly newsletter, sent on the first Sunday of each month, is one of our favorite ways to stay connected with our community. Each newsletter contains a recap of shows and events from the month, as well as photos of our riders and horses! Happy National Coaches Day to our forever favorite coach, Melissa! We thank you for leading such an amazing team to success, we couldn’t do it without you!
The UConn Dressage Team Ignite Fundraiser is officially OPEN!
Help support our team by donating through the link in our bio or the link in our caption!
Funds raised through this fundraiser help offset member showing dues, cover travel expenses (including opportunities like Nationals!), and support the overall funding and needs of our team throughout the season.
The fundraiser closes October 23rd, so be sure to get your donation in before then!
We are incredibly grateful for every donation and for all of the support we receive from our friends, family, and surrounding community. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and helps give our team the opportunity to continue competing and growing. 💙
Thank you for supporting UConn Dressage!

The UConn Dressage Team would like to extend a special thank you to KL Select for sponsoring us this year, contributing over $600 in vouchers and prizes for our team members!!
At KL Select, they know that being an equestrian is more than about riding, it’s more than just a hobby. It is a passion and lifestyle that matches the goals and interests of our team and community. Just like our horses, our tack is an investment. With the help of KL Select, our riders have the opportunity to invest in products that will last for years to come.
We greatly appreciate this partnership with KL Select and everything it brings for our team and members!
Congratulations again to our riders who competed at IDA Nationals in St. Louis! Every year we have the opportunity to send our girls to compete on the behalf of UConn and our team, and we hope to continue in the next year! We want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who made this possible, including our Coach, Melissa! Thank you to all of our friends, family, and supporters!
