The University of Connecticut Dressage Team
Our Mission Statement
The UConn Dressage Team is a club sports team dedicated to providing opportunities for students to further their skills in the discipline of Dressage, as well as promoting learning and growth in the equestrian community. Our team consists of hard-working and driven riders with varying levels of experience. We pride ourselves on being a tight-knit community of passionate riders working to better themselves in this sport. We compete regionally in the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) Region A/B, hosting and traveling to shows throughout New England. We have consistently sent students to IDA Nationals, with competitors placing in the top of their classes.

Congratulations again to our riders who competed at IDA Nationals in St. Louis! Every year we have the opportunity to send our girls to compete on the behalf of UConn and our team, and we hope to continue in the next year! A peek at our weekend spent with the team! We had a great time at the Equine Club banquet this past Saturday, and then our UCDT craft night tonight!
The UCDT is very excited to announce that all of our DSE riders have qualified for nationals! We wish them nothing but the best of luck as they head out next week to compete!! We are so proud to have them represent our team and UConn. Go huskies!! 💙🤍

Ending our current show season, the UCDT finishes off strong with a 4th Place at UNH! We are so grateful for such an amazing season, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team and our girls accomplishments.
This isn’t the end of showing though! With 4 girls having qualified for Nationals, we still are ready to give it our all! Be on the lookout for our announcements regarding national qualifiers, and more to come!
The last show of our season and regionals will be held today at the University of Nee Hampshire! Go Huskies and good luck to our girls!
What an amazing weekend at JWU for the UCDT!!!
We couldn’t be prouder of our girls who had spectacular rides this past Sunday, taking home nothing but Champion and Reserve Champion places 💙❤️
We’d also like to give a shoutout to Zoe Vogel for winning High Point ride of the day, with a score of 75.0% 🏆 Congrats Zoe!
As a team, UConn came home with an incredible first place as representation of some of the great work our girls can accomplish.
Thank you to JWU who hosted us this past weekend, and we look forward to ending our season this upcoming Saturday, April 4th at UNH for regionals.
